I have several Levoit systems around the house. I specifically wanted this model because it has a sensor to automatically filter and adjust the fan when the air is "bad". I place this machine behind my 3D printer to catch exhaust from PETG and ABS fumes/smells. It takes about 5-10 minutes to scrub the air. The three air quality levels on the machine are "BAD" (red), "Moderate" (orange), and "Good" (green). This model does an outstanding job and I also find the Vesync app very easy to use and control the machine from my phone. Of course, I can still control it manually on the machine if I wanted to disconnect it from the house wifi.

I live in a 2 bed 2 bath apartment, so we rotate having this by the bedrooms, or by the kitchen and it’s great! It’s reassuring knowing it is cleaning the air. I’ve had pretty constant congestion for 6 months and haven’t had allergy problems before, so I got this hoping it would help clear the air. The light around the power button changes color depending on your air quality which is very convenient, and the app is simple to set up and use and will send notifications to my phone if the air quality changes. Sometimes I get a notification when I’m at work and my spouse is cooking, and I’ll get in the app and up the fan speed remotely. We have it in the entry to the kitchen when we cook (which we use our kitchen for all three meals each day) and it has definitely helped clear any smoke or strong smells out! Sometimes we would cook and you could smell the spices for the next few days, but this has helped that! I open up the front and vacuum it every couple weeks cause it doesn’t get too dusty or dirty for us. It has an auto mode where it will change its speed depending on the air quality it detects. Overall this works great and is quiet and not annoying or noticeable unless you have it on the highest setting, but we don’t have it always on high.

I bought the Vital 100S.

Like many reviewers of this product, I purchased it because the wildfire smoke had infiltrated my house. I never ever thought that I would be "that" person - someone who needed their own atmosphere! But the irritation in my nose and throat motivated me to buy this unit for my well-being.

The reasons I chose this model are: the true HEPA, of course! Also the 3-stage filter. The CADR was good for the size of my rooms (I have open concept on the main floor, and a vaulted ceiling upstairs) the pre-filter is cleanable and I like the fact that I can also get specialized filters for Pet, Toxin and Smoke (in case things get really crazy!). The reviews are excellent and the price is right. I am seriously considering buying another of Levoit's units for the upstairs!

I have not used any of the "connected" features so I cannot comment on those.

The unit is easy to unpack and I was able to start using it immediately. It is very presentable; it's also light enough to be portable because I've been moving it from room to room (when the wind shifts sometimes the smoke comes into a different part of the house). It's super easy to use; I love the control panel, you just tap on it to turn it on, set the fan strength, and activate the timer. The first 2 fan settings are so quiet that I can barely hear that the unit is on. The third setting is a little louder but it IS moving a lot of air after all! I've only had it 2 weeks so haven't had to clean it or change the filter.

One thing I didn't consider thoroughly was the placement of the unit. In order to work properly any air purifier needs to be kind of in the middle of things. Proper placement of an air purifier is between 3 and 5 feet off the ground, with about 3 feet of open space around it. Luckily, the 100S fits well with my decor and is light enough to put on a table or my bookshelves. I was worried that it might vibrate a lot and eventually shake itself off the table but it's staying put quite well.

So far, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Got this due to the wildfire smoke. It works well and is super quiet.

I use it in my office which is about 12' x 11'. I also used in bedroom and it is efficient. If you use in a larger room, it will take longer to clean.

In 'sleep' mode, I don't even hear it at all and sometimes I think it's off but it isn't. It would be good for light sleepers. On high, it is louder but you would expect that.

The app is good too as there are lots of options. You can set timer by the minute, set up schedules, it will tell you the filter life, air quality, speed, etc. It also has light detection so if it is bright inside, the lights on the air purifier stay on. If inside light goes lower/dimmer, the lights on the air purifier turns off.

Auto mode is okay. If your air quality is good, the air purifier will go on low/sleep.

I'm glad I got this as my lungs feel much better

so fatr easy to et up and run , quiet at low to medium speeds at highest speed it would disturb my sleep l but it sure moves a lot of air at high speed . Turned it on and after 20 minutes it said airwas clean .
